Getting Here

By Car

There is limited on-street parking near the Freedom Centre, with several public car parks just a short walk away.

Nearby car parks include:

Nelson Street Car Park (around a 1 minute walk)
Minden Place Car Park (around a 2 minute walk)
Charles Street Car Park (around a 5 minute walk)

Finding a space in St Helier can take a little time, especially during busy periods, so we recommend allowing extra time before your event. You can check live availability for public car parks before you travel.

By Bus

The Freedom Centre is served directly by public buses.

The number 20 Town Link bus and the number 24 Grand Vaux bus both stop outside the Freedom Centre at the Millennium Park stop, just a few steps from the entrance.

Accessibility

We want the Freedom Centre to be welcoming and accessible for as many people as possible.

Step-free access is available from the front entrance through to the auditorium
The auditorium has a flat, level floor
Seating is flexible, and chairs can be removed to accommodate wheelchair users
Wheelchair spaces should be arranged in advance in discussion with the event organiser
An accessible toilet is available on the ground floor, located at the rear left-hand side of the auditorium

Please note that there is currently no lift access to the upper suites.

Gender-neutral toilets are available on the upper floor
A bar or refreshments may be available at some events
Coat rails are available and may be provided by some event organisers
Seating arrangements vary depending on the event
The auditorium is designed so that all seats have a clear, unobstructed view of the stage

Safety and Security

Your safety and comfort are important to us.

CCTV operates throughout the building
Trained staff are on duty during events
Some events may include additional security staff

You may be approached by a member of our team if behaviour appears unusual or concerning. If you notice anything that doesn’t feel right, please speak to a member of staff.
